Andrew “Drew” Phillippi has always been an active person who enjoys having fun while staying fit. Drew began playing soccer during high school and later participated in competitive running.
Drew started doing CrossFit in 2013 and was instantly hooked; he was mainly drawn to the weightlifting component of CF as well as the constantly varied design of the workouts. He quickly realized how much he had been missing out on this type of strength and conditioning program and dove in head first. Drew’s favorite time of year is the annual CF Open where he gets to see how much his fitness has improved since the previous year.
As the Elements coach, Drew has a keen eye for helping new participants safely learn proper movement and mechanics and works hard to make fitness fun and effective.
