Chris Masters has been an avid multi-sport athlete his entire life from ski patrol in Washington State to competitive track and field throughout high school and college.  While training for the 2013 Paris Marathon, Chris was looking for something different to break up the monotony of mile after mile of marathon training. Since that first 20min workout of box-jumps, dumbbell push press and lunges, Chris was hooked.

For Chris, CrossFit isn’t just about a great workout, training for the next competition or competing at the next level – it’s about the overwhelming sense of community that motivates him to be an active member and coach in the gym.

Every workout, and every day coaching, allows Chris to not only feed his own athletic drive, but also allows him the opportunity to help others find and feed theirs. Helping members to achieve things they never thought possible, physically and mentally, keeps Chris continually inspired to coach members of the CF MVA community. Chris has currently completed the Level 1 and Level 2 Courses.
