July 2014 I had knee surgery to repair a torn ACL. Over the next couple of years I was unmotivated to workout and gained 30 lbs. I joined Crossfit MVA in November 2015 hoping to find an alternative to traditional gyms. I immediately started to enjoy going to the gym where I felt like the workouts challenging, yet achievable. In my first 6 months lost 35 pounds and became noticeably stronger. I can’t thank Melissa, the coaches, and the other members enough, without their support and encouragement I would not be where I am today. The gym is no longer a chore and now I get to do a fun and challenging workout everyday with great people.”
